Examples

Display the DNS server

  iPXE> show dns
  net0.dhcp/dns:ipv4 = 192.168.0.1

Set the DNS server manually

  iPXE> set dns 192.168.0.1

Configure the DNS server in ISC dhcpd

  # in /etc/dhcpd.conf
  option domain-name-servers 192.168.0.1;

Description

Specifies the DNS server address used for resolving DNS names (such as “boot.ipxe.org”) to IP addresses (such as “212.13.204.60”).
